1. What We Use
Bura Bura Quest is currently designed to run with only essential cookies and local storage. We do not load any third-party analytics or advertising trackers from our own pages.
- NEXT_LOCALE (cookie / URL) — remembers your selected language (EN / JA / etc.).
- Session storage — temporarily holds form state while you generate an itinerary.
- Local storage — may store your most recent order ID so you can re-open your itinerary on the same device.
- Stripe Checkout cookies — set by Stripe when you proceed to payment. Governed by Stripe’s privacy policy.
- Cloudflare cookies (e.g.
__cf_bm) — set by Cloudflare for bot mitigation and security. Required for the Service to load reliably.
2. What We Do NOT Use
- Google Analytics, Plausible, PostHog, or other web analytics
- Advertising or remarketing pixels (Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, etc.)
- Social-media tracking widgets
If we add analytics in the future, we will update this page in advance and, where required by law (such as the EU ePrivacy Directive or UK PECR), present a consent banner before any non-essential cookies are set.
3. Third-Party Embeds
Some pages embed third-party content such as Google Maps. When you interact with these embeds, the third party may set its own cookies under its own policy:
- Google Maps — Google cookies
- Stripe Checkout — Stripe cookies
- Cloudflare — Cloudflare cookies
4. Managing Cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies (e.g. Cloudflare bot mitigation) may prevent the Service from loading.
